What website maintenance includes
Hosting and security
For custom-built sites, hosting and an SSL certificate are included. For Wix sites, your Wix plan stays in your name and Wix bills you directly, so nothing is ever held hostage.
Backups and safe changes
Every change is saved as a new version, so if anything goes wrong your site can be rolled back to how it was before.
Up to 1 hour of edits a month
Text, photos, prices, hours, staff, a new testimonial: send me what you want changed and it's done within 3 business days. Unused time doesn't roll over. Anything bigger, like a new section or page, gets a fixed quote before I start.
Technical fixes
Broken links, forms that stop sending, pages that slow down, errors that show up in Google Search Console. I fix them as part of the plan.
A monthly check and report
Once a month I check your site's speed, forms, links and search performance, and send you a short report in plain English: what I checked, what I fixed and anything worth your attention.

Why small business website maintenance matters
Most small business websites don't break all at once. They drift: a contact form quietly stops sending, the hours are wrong, an old price stays up, the site gets slower each year. Each one costs you calls you never hear about.
Regular maintenance catches those problems before customers do, and it keeps your site in good shape for Google, which pays attention to speed, broken pages and whether a site looks cared for.
How it works
- Free website review. Send me your site. I'll check it and tell you whether it's ready for a care plan or needs fixing first. If it needs work, you get a fixed quote for that before anything else.
- Handover. You give me access to your site (for Wix, as a collaborator, so you stay the owner). I take a first backup and fix anything urgent.
- Every month. Edits as you need them, technical fixes, the monthly check and your report.
One person looking after your site
- You deal with me directly. No ticket queues, no account managers. You email me, I do the work.
- 4 years in web performance, SEO and analytics. Speed, structure and tracking are the things I check every month.
- You always own your site. If you leave, you leave with everything: your site, your domain and your content.
- Wix or custom-coded. I work on both. I don't take on WordPress sites or online stores, so the sites I look after get done properly.

How much do website maintenance services cost?
Most small business maintenance plans cost somewhere between $50 and $500 a month, depending on what's included. Pokwala's care plan is $99 a month for a site you already have, with hosting, technical fixes, up to an hour of edits and a monthly report. The all-in plan is $249 a month and includes a new custom website.
What's the difference between website maintenance and website management?
They're mostly used to mean the same thing: someone keeps your site online, secure and up to date, and handles changes for you. Pokwala's plans cover both.
Do you maintain websites you didn't build?
Yes, if they're on Wix or custom-coded. I'll check the site first for free. If it needs fixing before it can be maintained properly, you'll get a fixed quote for that first.
Do you work on WordPress or Shopify sites?
No. I only maintain Wix and custom-coded sites. For online stores, I can still help with SEO.
What happens if I go over my hour of edits?
I'll tell you before going over. Larger jobs, like a new page or section, get a fixed quote so there are no surprises on your bill.
How fast do you make changes?
Edits are done within 3 business days. If your site goes down, I'll look at it the same business day (Monday to Friday, Eastern time).
Can I cancel?
The care plan is month to month: cancel with 30 days' notice. The all-in plan has a 12-month minimum, because it includes building your site, then it's month to month. Either way, your site, domain and content stay yours.
